Spent a week waiting for my grades :(   Finished reading “WHat Looks Like Crazy (On an Ordinary Day)” …looks like love in the moonlight. *wink* ;) Spent a lot for bus fares and fastfood dinners :)  Laughed a lot with friends and housemates :)  Got new “tropas” :D Had a few drinks Did something I wouldn’t have the guts to do if I stayed sober :)  Sang a lot of videoke songs kahit paos :D  Saw a lot of familiar faces in school :) Got the good news that I still qualify for 3rd yr :D Got higher than my usual grades in school :D Attended my first class, not knowing anything about the subject — Couldn’t care less if :) Saw an oversized baby rat lying dead in our apartment — I was tasked to put it away (shempre d ko kinaya yun) :( Bought books for this sem and started reading them right away :( Got new classmates — some I’m glad to be in the same room with, some I’d rather stay away from :( Got new prospects (joke lang) — single proprietor? ;) Still sick… OA na yung ubo ko :(  Got my first headache for not being able to comprehend what I’ve been reading for the last three days :(

It’s Mama’s 46th birthday yesterday. The Evangelista Family was here — aunts, uncles, cousins. We watched a video taken in 1989 at the newly opened Shangrila Mall. It looked a lot different then. It seemed like Shakey’s was the place to eat/ to be. T-shirts and cycling shorts matched with rubber shoes. Good thing t-shirts don’t fit me well then so I didn’t have to be a victim of that fashion style. I wore polo shirts matched with skirts and doll shoes. Ok for a ked eh? I realized why I’m maarte now… my mother used to dress me up kse lagi dati. There was one scene where I was wearing a shirt pala… Barbie. Then Ate noticed… May padding! hahahah! I thought I was the only fashionista in the family… di rin pala! My parents were skinny pa that time. My aunts were high-waisted. Only thing that stayed the same is the fact that I love the camera… I was always there, following the camera and asking the others to look at it, wave and smile. I can’t wait for the other videos to be converted to VCDs. Thanks to technology talaga.

Reminiscing while we were watching the video, I was touched upon seeing myself sitting on my brother’s lap.
