March 31, 2011

The oath-taking of last year’s successful Bar candidates will be held at the Plenary Hall, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City on April 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. In this connection, please take note of the following:

1. Secure a clearance from the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) to be presented to the Cashier of the Supreme Court for the payment of the Bar admission fee in the amount of P2,750.00 and a certification fee of P100.00. You must also present the same clearance to the representative of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), who are stationed at the OBC, for the payment of the IBP annual membership dues of P1,000.00, as well as the building fund fee of P200.00. Neither the SC Cashier nor the IBP representative will receive payment of the said fees unless your clearance is presented to them.

2. Present the official receipts of payment to the OBC, which shall then give you the schedule of your signing of the Roll of Attorneys, together with a gate pass for your guest. Read carefully the instructions appearing in the schedule.

3. You must be at the lobby of the PICC at least two (2) hours before the start of the oath-taking ceremonies for the registration. You will be issued the necessary papers for the purpose, together with the program of the oath-taking ceremonies, only upon registration.

4. Proceed at once to the Plenary Hall of the PICC after registration. Only those in toga (gown only) will be allowed to enter the said hall.
