a day in the life of atty-in-love
April 15, 2010My alarm is set everyday at 5:30, 5:45, and 6:00am. But I always get out of bed at 6. I go straight to the bathroom. Warm water is already prepared by my mother. I take a bath. Eat breakfast while im in a towel and just standing. My hair is also wrapped up in a towel. I dress up, brush my teeth, draw my eye brows, unwrap my hair and bid my parents goodbye.
SOmetimes my parents drive me off to the bus station sometimes I walk up to the mainroad. I have not combed my hair yet and it’s soaking wet. It’s 6:45.
I ride the 2nd or 3rd bus to UE Letre or Cubao. Inside the bus, I comb dry my hair, put make up, listen to Good Times with Mo until I fall asleep with my mouth usually open.
I step out of the bus looking better. I ride the taxi to my office. Catch coffe at starbucks if there’s time and money. I go for Dark Mocha Frappe most of the time. Grande for Bec. B-E-C.
I ride the elevator to the sixth floor and enter my room. I turn on the computer. Check my emails. and then this.
And then… I read the cases and write the pleadings necessary/ assigned to me. I would go with a partner to meet clients at times. Go to hearings in NLRC at times. And I’m looking forward to hearings in court later after I sign the Roll.
..it’s time to go home.
I would take the cab to cubao or my bf would fetch me at the office. We eat out or we cook longganisa or maling. I try to sleep or rest for a while.
Then I’d take a cab to Pasay Road. Ride the bus to Pacita. Tricycle. Gate. Door of my room. Bed. Facebook…. Zzzzzz……..
heart attack
Partner: do you still want to be a lawyer?
Me: Yes, sir.
Partner: Bka gusto mo wag na muna mag-sign ng roll of attorneys… 
i think i’m having a heart attack… sobrang stress… knina, wla ko magawa, hence the previous blog post.
ngayon, ngarag ako… wala pang verification page yung position paper na issubmit ko bukas sa NLRC… OMG!
isang malaking HHHHMMMPH!
or ung sa alabang??..
